If you want to learn more about volunteer opportunities for Binky Patrol through HandsOn Portland, you can either sign up through the DisneyParks.com site to get registered for their "Give a Day, Get A Day" opportunities. If so, follow these instructions: Thank you for signing up to be a part of Binky Patrol! If you have fabric markers and light colored fabric, let them decorate a square or two with a happy (non religious) message of hope and happiness. They can be sewn into a blanket. Make sure you have your sign up completed through the Disney site http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/disneyparks/en_US/WhatWillYouCelebrate/index?name=Give-A-Day-Get-A-Disney-Day If you've done this, then you go back in, login and choose an event -- there are open ended opportunities with us that you can select the date. https://disneyparks.delivery.net/disney-day-account/manage-account.html login click on "go to hands on network" Search for an opportunity Choose: children and youth 97005 Under our opportunity you'll this: Note: If you have already contacted this organization, found a qualifying opportunity and confirmed a date and time to volunteer, click here to complete the sign-up process. Click on the "click here" to schedule it. When you schedule an event, the day after, our Binky Patrol chapter you signed up with will have a list to verify those volunteers who had projects the day before. if you did it, we'll verify you and it will continue to process through the system. If you didn't we'll give you a day or two to reschedule, contact us, etc. |
