Court-Ordered Community Service Form

Because we have to verify this remotely, the requirements are very strict. Many of our chapters will not accept community service blankets because of enough people trying to cheat this system. We do this to help you satisfy the hours with a flexible schedule. Your checking the boxes in this form serve as your initials and are binding.

You MUST give us your parole officer's contact information, and the nature of your crime. We are fidning we have to follow up with them because people have forged signatures, etc. This typically happens with drug offenders, more than the DUI folks. We have to have one system - this is what we now have in place as of January 17, 2023.

This form has a glitch - it is being submitted. Not sure what the error is - we are workign on it.

You must read and check each box to acknowledge that you agree to and understand the following *

ALL blankets must be made by YOU during this time not years ago with NEW fabric or yarn to be considered.
Blankets cannot be from a smoky home - smoky blankets will not be accepted
Blankets must be 100 percent complete - all fringe tied or they will not count
Blankets must be at least 3 feet by 3 feet - no exceptions
You cannot buy your way out of this by making a donation.
You are responsible for buying your own materials to make the blankets.
Scarves and hats are not part of this project as they are too hard to count and verify.
All fleece blankets are single layer and count for 1 hour
Fleece blankets must be the width of the fabric by 1.5 yards up to 2 yards in length
Crocheted and knitted binkies can be 3 feet by 3 feet up to twin bed size - hours vary based on size - see the article for details
You will take a photo of making the delivery if this is done remotely.
You will get a business card from the person you delivered them to so they can be contacted to verify your hours.
You will email all the parts to Binky Patrol Founder Susan Finch - email in article
Anyone turning in used blankets - no matter how nice they look will receive NO hours and your PO will be contacted
We need 2 business days notice to be able to verify your blankets and then issue that verification to you and your PO
Only Susan Finch can verify remote blankets
