Volunteers in Connecticut did not let the recent shake of the snow globe stop them last weekend. Over 50 kids, teens, and adults came to Nichols United Methodist Church on Monday for the MLK Bink-A-Thon. 89 binkies were made in 3 hours, plus 38 hats were collected.  Half the binkies were delivered to Norwalk Hospital’s new pediatric ER, and the other half will be brought up to the 8th floor (pediatric oncology) at Connecticut Children’s Hospital today, ahead of this weekend’s big storm.

This was from Elijah Randolph’s parents, “Today was a huge success. 💙 My husband and I dropped off Binky Patrol blankets at CCMC, and our hearts are so full. We decided to deliver earlier than expected since the clinic is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, and with the snowstorm ❄️ coming, Monday felt uncertain. Everything aligned perfectly.

Elijah was such a big helper. Because the space was small, we rolled the blankets up tightly, leaving us with more than enough room. We were able to deliver blankets to the 8th and 5th floors—mission accomplished. 🤍
We are forever thankful and grateful for the foundations that reach out to us personally and trust us with deliveries that mean so much to our family as we continue to grow Elijah’s Entourage, Inc. From the bottom of our hearts—thank you to all the wonderful hands that created these blankets for our kiddos at CCMC. Your love is felt more than you know.”
