Chapter Information
We’re a group of volunteers who make blankets (called binkies) and other soft items for children in need across LA County. All ages and skill levels are welcome- if you can use scissors and tie a knot, you can make a blanket.
Volunteering with Binky Patrol can fulfill a community service requirement and is a great way to meet local crafters. All blankets are accepted, provided they are new, handmade, and do not contain religious elements.
We donate our blankets to:
– Providence St. John’s Hospital
– St. John’s Child & Family Development Center
We’ve made:
10 blankets, 7 stuffed animals, 4 bags, and counting!
Meeting Information
We meet most Saturdays from 1 to 4 pm at Mia’s house. We also occasionally meet on Saturdays from 4 to 7 pm at Beadahs (current information is at the top of the site page). Email or text Mia to be added to our mailing list for real-time meeting updates and the address! Bring a project, or come with ideas. We have supplies for everyone.
