We are still seeking volunteers and recipients. We are currently making blankets for St. Francois County Children’s Division for foster children in this area. We make quilts for military families and give them to the Quilt Angel Ministry in Farmington, Missouri. The quilts are then sent to the army base in Fort Campbell, Kentucky and they distribute them to the military children and families that have lost a parent to the war or who has a parent that has been deployed. We also give blankets to Pay It Forward Baby Ministry of DeSoto, Mercy Hospital of Jefferson County, Mercy Hospital Cancer Center, as well as individual children with cancer and other serious illnesses. We give hats to cancer patients at Siteman Cancer Centers of St. Louis and St. Peters, Missouri. We recently have started giving afghans and lap quilts to Camp Hope in Farmington, Missouri for our veterans. We give afghans to our local Amvets in both DeSoto and Festus Missouri for veterans that are in wheel chairs and homebound, Shared Blessings Women’s Shelter in Bonne Terre, Missouri, HeartFelt Stitches Bonne Terre, Missouri and FF Children’s Home Madison County, Missouri.
