Jeanne’s Partnership Built on Care

Jeanne’s relationship with the Center for Family Justice began with something small but meaningful – a handmade frog blanket for Deb’s grandson, Ethan. From that first blanket, her partnership has grown into something truly special. Under Jeanne’s leadership, the Monroe/Trumbull chapter now ensures that CFJ’s safe houses are consistently stocked with comfort blankets, and every Camp HOPE camper receives their own binky each summer.

Growing Impact Through Jeanne’s Vision

What makes this partnership even more meaningful is how Jeanne has expanded it to include Madison Middle School. When she learned about a mother who had traveled all the way from Georgia with her children to reach safety at the safe house, Jeanne rallied Madison Middle School to step up without hesitation. That moment of need sparked what became the Snowflake Wishes project, which now helps dozens of children every year during the holiday season.

The school’s KARE community service club creates special blankets for these children, while the staff ensures each child’s gift wishes are fulfilled, treating them like their own family members.

A Heart That Exemplifies Our Mission

This award represents more than recognition – it celebrates Jeanne’s embodiment of what Binky Patrol is all about: bringing comfort to children who need a reminder that they matter, are deserving of love, and are not invisible.. Whether it’s a child entering a safe house, a camper at Camp HOPE, or a family starting over in a new place, Jeanne ensures our handmade blankets carry love and hope.

Jeanne’s dedication extends beyond her local chapter. Her huge heart and unwavering commitment to our mission inspire volunteers both locally and nationally. She represents the very best of what it means to be part of the Binky Patrol family.

The Center for Family Justice does incredible work supporting families in crisis, and we’re honored that Jeanne has built such a meaningful partnership with them. Together, they’re making sure that no child goes without comfort during their most difficult moments.

Thank you to the Center for Family Justice for recognizing our remarkable Area Coordinator. Jeanne, we are so proud of you and grateful for everything you do for children in need. Every stitch, every blanket, and every act of kindness you inspire truly matters.
