When Jeanne and Susan had the idea of a fun way to get new people involved in small projects, they came up with a block challenge. Hearts are ALWAYS welcomed. It was a great kick-off. Rania and Ryan posted about it on quilt boards, and other groups, social media, and the hearts started pouring in! Here are a few of the finished blankets made with those six-inch heart blocks. Feel free to keep them coming in. We’ll always use them and incorporate them into binkies. You can make a full heart binky any time, too.
What a fun challenge! We had several people join us from across the country. Connecticut knocked it out of the park. We thought you’d enjoy seeing all of the fun hearts people quilted, sewed, knitted, and stitched!
Next challenge for April – June will be “In the Garden” challenge. Anything goes! Details will be posted April 1.
