KinderCare Learning Center
The four-year-old preschool classroom at the KinderCare Learning Center in Clifton Park, New York donated this beautiful quilt. The quilt was given to a 4 year old who is undergoing chemotherapy.
“Dear Dayle,
Hello! I enjoyed our conversation this evening and look forward to meeting you and giving you our classroom quilt for the Binky Patrol organization to present to a child in need.
I am the Head Teacher of a four-year-old preschool classroom at the KinderCare Learning Center in Clifton Park, New York. After a discussion of things that make us happy, each child selected a picture to draw using fabric markers. Our quilt has things like ice cream cones, balloons, flowers, butterflies and race cars. Our quilt has twenty squares – 18 children, 2 teachers and a heart for love. The quilt was then sewn and assembled by Mrs. Marie Smith. The quilt squares are yellow, the border and trim is green with white polka dots and the back has a bright Winnie The Pooh fabric.
It was a wonderful project for our classroom to take part in.
Thank You.
Mandy Lane”
