Quilt Fabric Closeouts – Great quality quilting fabric, fast shipment and excellent packaging.
Freecycle.org is free to join — you can post a free “Want” ad which notifies people in your area that you are in need of fabric. Also, you can sign up for email announcements, set up the parameters of what you are looking for (fabric, fleece, batting, thread, etc.) and you will receive email announcements when a free item meeting your criteria is posted.
Martin’s Yarns – Martin’s Yarns sells acrylic yarn by the pound. 4 ply is $2/lb, baby and sport weight is $3/lb, cotton crochet is $6/lb.
Oklee Quilting Supply – For those of you who plow through batting, here’s a source for 60″ wide Econo Batting. 60 yards, 3.5 oz. $70.20/roll ($1.17/yd) from OkleeQuilting.com. 800-777-7403.

Hobbs will send a roll of batting for every 5 UPC labels from Hobbs packaged batting… maximum of two rolls per order. They have a form that you need to fill in and send to them via snail mail. The address on the form is Hobbs Bonded Fibers, 200 South Commerce, Waco, Texas, 76710, phone 800-433-3357, fax 254-772-7238. The form includes a statement that you agree the batting will be used for charities.
