April 13, 2002 – Orange County Girl Scouts Drop Off Day!  Orange County Girl Scouts dropped off hundreds of binkies at seven Orange County locations.

Kathy Freygang and daughter – Girl Scout volunteers from Senior Troop 2170 – tallied and sorted incoming binkies by size.

Karin Ring, from the new “Karing Kwilts” Binky Patrol chapter, sews labels onto donated binkies.

Mimi Askew, Girl Scout Program Director, Susan Finch, Binky Patrol founder, and baby Savannah, enjoy checking out the hundreds of donated binkies.

Cady Summerl sews labels onto donated binkies.

Look at all of these wonderful fabrics – I have some new favorites!  What do you think – do we have 50 binkies here?  100 binkies?

Wow – the stacks of binkies just keep growing!  These Girl Scout troops sure are talented.

This beautiful binky was made and donated by Daisy Troop 1719.

This great binky features wonderful drawings, on flannel no less  – great idea!

More great fabrics on our growing stacks of binkies!

Several donated binkies had a patriotic theme – always a winning choice!

A very bright and beautiful binky featuring more creative drawings!

These stacks of binkies are almost as tall as these Girl Scouts – Yeah!!

Girl Scouts of all ages donated binkies and shared stories about what they learned making them.

These Girl Scouts learned to crochet!
