Donation made to Hilton Lake Fire Station

On September 27, 2008, the Marysville Binky Patrol Chapter met at 8:30 am at
the Hilton Lake Fire Station. We set up our tables, chairs, and sewing machines
and were ready to sew by 9:00 AM. We sewed until noon when we broke for a
potluck lunch.
Two ladies from our local Domestic Violence Services office came to talk to us about their services and how our quilts help them serve their clients.
We were back to sewing at 1:00 pm and sewed until 3:00 pm. We completed 32
quilts for the day.
We donated an afghan to the Fire Department to auction off later this Fall at
one of their annual events, in appreciated of letting us use their facility
for our Bink-A-Thon.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this a successful day!
