Monday, January 17th (MLK Day itself!)
Mark your calendars and rev your sewing machines for the next Portland, Oregon Binky Patrol Bink-a-thon, on Monday, January 17th (MLK Day itself!) where we will again be working towards a goal of making as many blankets as possible in just a handful of hours. The blankets we make will find their way to families with children in need of comfort and warmth.
Warm blankets are being delivered as fast as they are turned in to help keep our homeless neighbors warm during the winter. With so many families in transition or experiencing hard times, more children than ever rely on our homemade blankets to give them comfort and a reminder that they are not forgotten or invisible – we see them and care. Please consider joining us for this event to pull together and make more blankets to comfort teens, children and babies in need – in addition to some adults faced with desperate circumstances. You can truly make a difference in their lives by choosing to help us this day!
