The Monroe/Trumbull CT chapter pulled off an amazing feat this past month. They collected 405 baby, toddler, and preschool binkies for the kiddies who attend the Head Start programs  in the Greater Valley region of CT. In order to accomplish this, they had a binkathon (birthday bash actually) on Saturday where they collected and made an amazing 174 binkies in about 3 hours. Much of the fleece fabric used at this event had been donated by a gentleman who had lost his daughter last January. She had been very crafty and had a room full of fabric. He was looking for a place to donate the fabric where it would have a special meaning. He accomplished that by not only making all the little kids smile but also helping bring volunteers together for a special day.
