SewCanShe has GREAT free patterns. She charges $3 for most optimized PDF files, but the free ones can be used. I like this one as it’s easy and doesn’t involve TRIANGLES – oooooh the dreaded TRIANGLES! What can you do with three yards? The ladies at Fabric Cafe have built a mini-empire on just that – 3-yard patterns. You may enjoy their episode.
It’s always fun to have more 3-yard quilt pattern resources, especially when they are free! Here is the link to some easy patterns. Do NOT click on the ads that look like this. Many quilt and pattern sites haveads to help pay for the site, and pay the creator of the site. Be careful, as you may end up with invasive cookies on your computer, downloading something you thought would help you print the pattern. These sites are loaded with ads. Onthe SewCanShe.com, either pay the $3 for the pattern or be very careful as you navigate to the actual patterns. They are great, but it’s a long haul to cut to the chase. It’s not like recipe sites where you can “skip to the recipe.” But her patterns are GREAT!
