September 9, 2004, Santa Ana, California — Wahoo’s Fish Taco just announced that it would once again sponsor the Orange County Bink-A-Thon by providing lunch to participants in the day’s events.
“We are thrilled! They have done this for nine years — ever since our first Bink-A-Thon in 1996. It wouldn’t be the same without them.”, exclaimed a tickled Susan Finch, founder of Binky Patrol.
Ed Santos, Marketing Director for Wahoo’s, delivered the news via email and it was cause for everyone to cheer. Wahoo’s Fish Taco has always been active in all communities where their restaurants are located. Their delicious and healthy food is perfect to keep the Bink-a-thon participants sewing at full-speed that day.
The Orange County Bink-A-Thon will be held in Santa Ana at:
First Neighborhood Congregational Church
714-639-0311
2555 SANTIAGO STREET, SANTA ANA CA 92706
Saturday October 30, 9am to 3 pm.
Binky Patrol is hoping that this will be added motivation for people to sign up to participate that day. The group needs people with sewing machines, people to help finish binkies by tying them off and labeling them.
